He led his people from living in the glorious Egypt to wander in the wilderness for 40 years. Such a great leader.

The archaeological evidence, which corresponds with the Egyptian records, strongly indicates that far from slaves being led out of Egypt, the biblical 'Exodus', was actually hittite invader settlers being pushed out of the Nile delta by a newly strengthened Egypt, following a period of internal division and decline...
The Egyptians chased them all the way back to their Levantine homeland, and spanked one of their cities, as a warning not to invade again.

He also apparently saw God's rear end, a real privilege that.

Evidence that something else happened in one region does not mean that nothing else matching the Biblical accounts also happened. Like how bad is logic being abused here?

There is no actual evidence of the biblical exodus. Sorry.

Some events in the bible do have a basis in actual events, and correlate to Egyptian records (there was a slight disjoint between the two, but now that is understood)... The 'Exodus' being a case in point... The archaeological evidence supports the Egyptian version of events as most accurate, and the biblical version as propaganda (the hittites weren't keen on saying "we took over the Nile delta, but eventually got pushed out")... and we know they moved out of The Levant in to Egypt because of a famine in The Levant... Not logic, a sound inference based on studies of all records of events, cross referenced with the physical evidence.

He also apparently saw God's rear end, a real privilege that. Oh dear. You really need to keep saying that don't you?

The Bible makes no mention of the back of God's head per se, viz:
"Then I will take away my hand, and you shall see my back, but my face shall not be seen" Ex 33:23
The 'back' of someone of course can include the back of the head, but it can also include everything else.
Something good is always worth repeating.
