That's not necessary is it? You guys constantly complain about DC Fan needlessly knocking the MCU and its fans and then you all do the same thing in reverse. This thread isn't meant to put down BP or the MCU. Your insult is unwarranted. INNIT? INNIT! INNIT!!!!!!1

I like to think that it's the Russo's were paying tribute to Phantom Menace with that scene.

I like to think that it's the Russo's were paying tribute to Phantom Menace with that scene. I'd like to think so, too, not only of the Russos, but also Ryan Coogler, who did the same with Black Panther. As imperfect as Episode I is, the climactic battle scenes are epic and awesome. If the homages weren't intended, those are two hecks of amazing coincidences.

I never thought I would see the day when a group of people would think that The Phantom Menace is the best Star Wars movie. I guess when you love movies like Suicide Squad and Batman vs Superman, this should not come as a surprise. It is the best of the prequels (I realize that's the equivalent of beating a room full of one legged men in an ass kicking contest) and although objectively it isn't as good a movie, I probably hate it less than TFA and TLJ.

It is not better than Revenge of the Sith, but I agree it is better than Attack of the Clones.
