Well, 16 is twice 8 days a week and a fourth of When I'm 64, so that's the magic number here. Still tough to keep down to just 16 for people who like real music and inspiration.
Couldn't get half the contenders in here, of course.

I only voted for 2.
'Here Comes The Sun' and for a total contrast 'Back in the USSR'.

Where are "I Wanna hold your hand" and "Eleanor Rigby"? Two of their biggest smashes.

Yes, I admit being wrong this time, in forgetting Rigby and Hand, two mainstays. Guess that's two demerits for me.

I think the real “sleeper” of Beatles songs is John Lennon’s “If I Fell” from A Hard Day’s Night.

These aren't my 16 favorite Beatles songs, because not all my favorites are in the poll, but out of these songs I voted for (in no order):
Penny Lane Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band With a Little Help From My Friends While My Guitar Gently Weeps Something Here Comes the Sun Tomorrow Never Knows Hey Jude For the Benefit of Mr. Kite Strawberry Fields Forever I Am the Walrus Across the Universe A Day in the Life Fool on the Hill Revolution Happiness Is a Warm Gun
Still it's really difficult to pick only 16, because I still can't pick a few masterful songs.

PS I Love You has no votes yet, which is a shame, because it was my 17th choice. Great thread as usual, drystyx.

That and Rigby are two huge mainstays. Sorry I forgot Rigby. Lots of the others are songs I really love, but didn't think they were mainstays

I like pretty much love every Beatles song but here are some not mentioned yet This Boy Another Girl Run for Your Life Drive my Car I'm A Loser She's A Woman Blackbird Day Tripper And I Love Her In My Life Michelle Slow Down Rock and Roll Music Your Mother Should Know Tell Me Why Girl Lady Madonna Rollover Beethoven Hello Goodbye You Can't Do That Free As A Bird (This song is originally recorded as a demo by John Lennon in the 70s but it was never released until the 90's where Paul, George, and Ringo completed it. So it's still considered a Beatles song even though it was released in 1995 when they have already been broken up. Not everyone knows it but I love it <3) Don't ask me how long it took to post all this 😂
