But insignificant. There is only one path to ultimately defeating Thanos, and presumably, the MCU universe is following it.

Judas gets all the shit for ratting out JC in that world famous book of fiction, The Bible. It wasn't his fault either. A lot of people just don't get it.

Let's face is, Starlord never claimed to be a hero, and the way he acted is completely realistic. People do stupid stuff when under enormous amounts of stress.

If anyone is to blame, it's the guy who wrote the script

this is getting out of hand. what is up with this scene?
is it just bad and poorly written or is it about starlord trying to be a complicated character?
I see this news everywhere that he ruined the movie? what's that about.

He had an emotional break down at the worse possible time and it upset some people. Some claim it was out of character which doesn't make sense given the fact that he had a similar emotional break down when Ego, his biological father, reveal that he planted a tumor in his mother head back in Guardians of the Galaxy vol 2. Basically a chunk of the marvel fandom are acting like entitled cry babies, like most fandoms.

I'm surprised this was ever a controversy. Characters are more interesting when they make mistakes, act emotionally and occasionally do stupid things.

What Star Lord did was completely realistic and a example of good writing.
