I totally agree that people exaggerate the amount of nudity on this show. I remember one whacko on religion board calling it pornography and nothing else. But on a personal level I am happy that there isn't more nudity on it. It won't feel mainstream if they put too much nudity in it. I personally am not a big fan of non-contextual nudity which Hollywood started promoting in 70s.

"Everything in the world is about sex, except sex. Sex is about power."
- Oscar Wilde, poet and playwright
Since Game of Thrones deals with power, it only makes sense for the show to tackle sex in all its forms. Sex is part of life.

Only one instance I found that there was non-contextual nudity shown on the show. That was when they showed Hound's cock for no apparent reason. There was a talk that it was to appease whacko feminists.

Yeah this has nothing to do with my thread. And i don`t know what question you are answering but its not the question i asked. Your thread is about the topic of sex. My posting was very much on the same topic. I wasn't responding to you though - I was responding to Coolmax92. I just forgot to hit direct reply to him, but he was sharp enough to catch on as he responded to me.

Some scenes are not necessary the story can be told without a genital part being shoved in front of my tv screen Example when they had that fake theater play of cersei and Joffrey and the actor who portrayed fake Joffrey Ewwww , so uncomfortable to watch this show with family members becasue of stupid scenes like that

Early on there were more scenes of dialog surrounded by nude people. But that seemed to die down by season 3.

It was more common during the first two seasons and sometimes it seemed to be there just for the sake of showing boobs. The infamous scene with Littlefing in the brothel comes to mind.

The amount of nudity\sex and violence are no wear near as much or graphic as people like to claim. So why do people exaggerate the amount of nudity\sex and violence ? And yes i have seen every episode I agree. Many people are ridiculous. And I would like to add, women's rights groups are complaining about the treatment of females in this show. I agree, it is uncivilized. But that was the way things were during medieval times. Shows how ignorant of history these women's rights groups are.

What i find annoying is that they seem to ignore that men a treated just as bad as the women. Most people in the medieval world that this show is based on was treated like shit. I don't agree. With few examples, men have all the power in Game of Thrones. Even Queen Cerse is limited to what she can, and can't do.

Even women did use to wear almost no cloths until either Islamic invasion or enforcement of Victorian morality happened in last 1000 years.

My friends and I used to love to look at National Geographic magazines for that very reason.
