Apocalypse wasn’t especially dark. Given the source material, DP should be dark.

I don't remember Apocalypse that much. What was dark in that film again?

He also mentions being interested in a Quicksilver spin-off. Slow your roll, Evan.

I'd love to know how many times I've seen comments where someone has said a sequel is going to be darker like that automatically makes it better.

Logan was nominated for a screenplay and your saying this because?

Darker films are better so these are welcomed comments.

Darker films are better so these are welcomed comments. So... ‘Saw’ series is better than any films made by Pixar? Hee hee hee...

Logan was nominated for a screenplay and your saying this because? Didn't much care for Logan and that was more a slight against the DCEU's shortcomings as it was.

Studios using darker as some sort of "miracle crutch".

Studios using darker as some sort of "miracle crutch". Even if a movie is bad, there are those that will say it is good because it is "dark". Usually dark means that there is low lighting instead of actually having a dark story.

Usually dark means that there is low lighting instead of actually having a dark story. Dark means having a dark story in tone. also heavier plot and been mostly serious and usually not a ''disney movie''. you really should read the article kevin feige did when he said mcu will never be dark then compare them to how batman begins or xmen 1 were made. you will see the difference and trust me it starts with tone, film style and story telling. Also wasn't dark phoenix a dark comic, but feel free to say Claremont wrote it to be comedy. we could use more bs lies.
mcu fans sure have an embarrassing way of defending why all their movies are superficially light hearted and jokey.disney walking toys commercials. they still cant handle the fact everyone but little kids hated Thor Ragnarök for not been the dark and serious film it should have been just based on the term Ragnarök alone in comics and norse mythology. so sad.
if you want more dark... check out sam raimi's spiderman movies and how spiderman fights aggressively and violently when necessary. disney banning that fighting style from homecoming is one of the reason sam raimi movies are darker and better. it ain't just about low lighting kid.
hurry up Comcast.

None of the X-men movies were actual dark. They just had low lighting. Low lighting and people being kinda serious does not make a movie dark.
By your own definition, there are more dark MCU movies than X-men (only 1 X-men related movie).
Heh, way more people liked Ragnarok than any of the X-men movies. Being serious does not mean a movie is dark.

xmen is dark. sorry. marvel pre -disney was darker than even DC. how many liked Ragnarök over any xmen movie? only little kids, dumb masses and extreme mcu fans. JOKNOCK is even hated here by sane mcu fans. As you see in 2017, it was an insult last year to compare jokenork to the masterclass of Logan. Jokenork was so embarrassing that you even lied you liked to logan. that is how embarrassing Jokenock was. mcu fans pretended to like Logan. LMAO
Logan brought respect and real praise as xmen movies has been doing for the genre since x-men 1 adding by the nolan films, jokernork embarrassed the genre to the point the director had to defend why he made a joke kids play movie to smart people, grown ups and long time comic fans. as I dont lie, this is the truth. read it.
'Thor: Ragnarok' Director Gives Epic Reply To Comedy Criticism
urgh, even mcu directors know they direct comedy disney cgi garbage. thank goodness Joss whedon and alan taylor confirmed it earlier and left to save their reputation before things got this bad.yawn. bring on Comcast.

Heh, way more people liked Ragnarok than any of the X-men movies. Ragnarok audience rating 87% and 7.9 on imdb. DOFP audience rating 91% and 8.0 on imdb. First Class audience rating 87% and 7.8 on imdb. Logan audience rating 90% and 8.1 on imdb. More lies from GuySon. And this proves you're not an xmen fan and never was.
