Everyone got so excited for Infinity War because of all the characters and especially with the recent huge success of Black Panther.
But Avengers 4 won't have most of these characters in the movie at least until the very end. That's going to hurt it from a marketing stand point because there's no Spider-man, no Doctor Strange, no Black Panther, no Guardians of the Galaxy just Rocket and a bunch of others.
It's mainly just going to have the same original Avengers cast with the same villain again, Thanos and I suppose it'll add in Captain Marvel.
I don't think it will generate the same kind of interest and hype that Infinity War because whereas that movie, nobody really knew what was going to happen or who was going to die....with Avengers 4 you already know they'll revive everyone at the end and kill Thanos so it's not as exciting.

I think at the very least, it's going to be a better movie and it'll probably be more fun too. 900 Million world-wide would be my lowest guess.

It's definitely going to be interesting to see how people will react to it, but I have no doubt there's going to be ever casual fans that wanna see how the story wraps.

I think you're wrong on all fronts. It's going to be huge, and all of those characters will be in more of the film than you think.

Looking at the 2019 calendar, the biggest titles to follow it are John Wick 3 which hasn't received full mainstream audience support, Aladdin which may be live action fatigue + Will Smith fatigue, & Godzilla also not really fully mainstream. Toy Story 4 is 6-7 weeks later by which time it won't really matter.
I think it'll have longer legs than IW with more repeat viewings spread out. Besides, it's beyond rare than a penultimate tent pole blockbuster installment fares poorer than its lead ins. Captain Marvel will be another refreshing MCU title, though its March release date is pretty tight up against Avengers 4, unlike Black Panther's February which gave more time for audiences to take a breath.

It'd still make a billion. I expected IW part 1 to edge close to $2B so my word is god now so there.

It's likely going to be the farewell for most of the original Avengers (we already know it will be for Cap), so yeah everyone will want to see them go out in style. That's probably a big reason they were basically the only ones left standing at the end of Infinity War...so the focus would be on them in Part 4 and give them the send-off they deserve. People will absolutely want to see how it all plays out.

It will be a big movie but no I don't think it will be as big as Infinity War either.
Like how Age of Ultron had a dip because it didn't offer as much as the previous movie I think the same will happen here.

It'll be a massive flick. It's the first true sequel for the MCU. All the other sequels had other movies in between and weren't directly connected.
