Why did Infinity War ignore the ending of SMH?

At the end of SMH, May Parker finds out that her 15-year-old nephew has been lying about working an internship for Tony Stark and he's really been masquerading as a masked vigilante for Iron Man. So the 1st thing May Parker would've done is take Peter's Spider-Man costume and burn it and the 2nd thing May Parker would've done is get a restraining order against Tony Stark. Yet Infinity War ignores the ending of SMH and has Peter running around in his Spider-Man costume (which May Parker would've burned) and hanging around Tony Stark again.
