I gotta say I'm digging the animation here.

You can see the depth without using 3-D specs. The only problem is that watching Miles Morales is racist against white people.

Honestly the animation is a bit weird, but I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully this ends up being a big hit and we get more of this, especially from DC and Marvel.

I'm unsure how to feel about the animation. I feel put-off by it, but it can be something I'll get used to.

Looks interesting. It’s also nice to see that there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of people accusing this movie of being SJW propaganda.

If you ask me, this is the proper way to go about racial diversity. Cast a character that's actually racially diverse, instead of simply race-swapping random white characters for POCs. This is something that the MCU TV shows has been pretty good at, and something I wish the DC TV shows would learn to do.

Oh I know, they've done it and I hated it everytime they did so. But they at least aren't as blatant about it as the DC TV shows. And the MCU has taken steps into getting characters who are actually of different races into the screen.

And honestly, Idris Elba as Heimdall and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie were great castings regardless of their ethnic background. I'm conflicted about those two. On one hand, I was irritated that they race-swapped Heimdall and Valkyrie, two very caucasian/nordic looking characters. On the other hand, I really like Elba and Thompson as actors. I especially liked how Thompson played Valkyrie (Elba never really got to do anything as Heimdall). She was way better than Sif. In the end I guess I still wanted those two to be in an MCU movie, just would have preferred if they were not Asgardians. But they ended being great casting choices anyway so I don't worry too much about it.
