Toy Story. You've Got a Friend in Me (in particular), Strange Things, I Will Go Sailing No More and others are some great tunes by the awesome Randy Newman.
Also Shrek and Shrek 2, can list a number of songs from those but it would be too long haha.

Are we talking soundtracks or scores? I have different answers for each.
Scores - find any of the James Horner scores for the animated films he did (Land Before Time, An American Tail, Once Upon a Forest, Balto)
Soundtrack - Beauty and the Beast (the 1991 one) and the Lion King (the 1994 one). The songs and music fit the plot, the pacing, and the film really well. Haven't heard of any really better.

Hook is one that comes to mind for a great underrated score.
For the total package, the big four of the Disney Renaissance all have great soundtracks. (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King)
Mary Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Frozen all have great songs.
The Land Before Time, Coraline, and Inside Out come to mind for great scores.
Of course, do we have to use the term "kid's movie"? Just what are you implying regarding the films I've mentioned?
