I met some nerd who told me Julius Caesar died in 44 BCE. I said, "no, he died in 44 BC, boy". The nerd said, "excuse me, but that term is archaic, and not proper for civilized usage grbllkk.." or something like that, when I had him a headlock, and said, "ok, nerdo, what's this about no BC"? Had to give him an attituded adjustment about this "CE" crap, too.

Is it even something that matters when the calendar is a few years off when it comes to Christ's birth anyway?

Nothing he says is true. He's a troll.

I use AD and BC. It rolls off the tongue better.

So many choices, and I had to pick out three. So I picked full of hate, full of poop, and trying to fix something that isn't broken.

AD means anno domini, which, I guess, makes no sense if Jesus is not a lord. (To many, he isn’t). His place in history is, however, a significant marker. It’s not necessary to refer to him as a “lord”, though; that’s subjective.
