Good CGI on Momoa. You almost can't recognize him.

Speaking of which.
In an interview with EW, Warner Bros. film executive Toby Emmerich praised Wan's work on Aquaman, teasing that the film is "taking you to a different place and imagining the underwater world in a way you haven’t seen before." Further, Aquaman producer Peter Safran spoke about what Wan brings to the DC Comics movie universe. He said:
[Aquaman has] got the great action you expect, it’s got a lot of great humor, it works on so many levels … it’s a testament to James’ unique vision. I think it’s an extraordinary step in [the] DC Universe that sets it on the right path.

I saw it. It wasn't awful and it could've gotten better as it went along. But anything shot on water is a nightmare production and budget wise.

Lets hope so.
I cant help but notice how no one can seem to talk about the DCEU without mentioning how it needs to be "set on the right path."
I actually like Zack Snyder (I know, I know, sacrilege! Kill me now!), but still, I do lay the blame at his feet. His overall vision was just too grim. That might have worked if he had just directed Batman movies, but its a tone that didn't serve the other characters too well, especially not Superman.

I mostly agree, though I didn't think MoS was that grim; not a fraction close to BVS's downright oppressiveness anyway. Think about it, the former actually ends with Superman smiling at the camera while in the other he dies. Whether Nolan kept him on a lease, I don't know but it took him no time to go off the edge.
