Wouldn’t the X-Men still go to Disney regardless of whether or not Disney is the studio that buys Fox? From what I understand, because Fox doesn’t technically own the property, it would mean that they can’t actually sell it.

MCU fans...just be happy with your mcu stuff and leave us xmen fans alone. we don't want to have any link to your cgi childish movies. can't you at least respect that?

I mean, I’m not especially interested in seeing the X-Men in the MCU myself (though the Fantastic Four definitely need to go back to Marvel). I’m just pointing out that as far as I know, the X-Men will still go back to Marvel regardless of who ends up buying Fox.

I doubt it will happen.
comcast has a higher chance of keeping fox intact and just let them continue as they are. disney just wants to force xmen into their comedy mcu universe with no intelligent reason or artistic thinking.

I say good. Not great, as i hate these mergers, but better than Disney buying FOX's film library.

Either one sounds like a bad idea to me. Horizontal mergers aren’t good for business. That is why I am not celebrating, but I think Disney is the worst.
It has a bad history of releasing stuff from its archives. It would be best if these companies were forced to sell off their various assets. The mergers of the 80s and 90s completely ruined film and publishing, though the mergers in the mid 60s were the start of bad news.
Big companies = less competition and less choice.

1, mcu fans won't leave xmen fans alone, if anything they started it first, to the point it got personally bitter, remember the dotting fiasco.
2, I say mostly the reality of the siutation about mcu movies and the state of comic films in general.
3. Disney is no good, and i think xmen fans need to say it and be heard, the media is not doing so. they are spin doctors for marvel disney, also mcu fans need to hear the truth about xmen. disney cannot adapt xmen stories without dumbing it down. the proof is in star wars and spiderman and mcu itself.

Who are these MCU fans that won't leave the X-men fans alone? This board has next to no issues on it. No one comes to this board and slags off these movies.
The only one who was routinely critical of the them was formsam and he's long gone.
Marvel Studios has nothing to do with Star Wars and they haven't even made an X-men movie to judge off of. They've made like 19 consecutively successful movies both financially and critically.
The X-men movies have been good for the most part but they've had their ups and downs. X-men 2 was good and then X-men 3 wasn't. X-men Origins Wolverine was bad and then Logan wasn't. Days of Future Past was good and the Apocalypse wasn't.
You're putting the X-men movies on a pedestal and then also jumping the gun on how Marvel Studios would adapt them.
Considering they've done most what they can under Fox then a fresh start under Marvel Studios could be pretty interesting.

I will never understand the logic behind why people would prefer the X-men movies to go to a studio that has no good track record of making cbm's versus wanting it to go to a studio who've produced 19 very successful cbms.

Wouldn’t the X-Men still go to Disney regardless of whether or not Disney is the studio that buys Fox? From what I understand, because Fox doesn’t technically own the property, it would mean that they can’t actually sell it. That’s just baseless speculation with literally nothing backing it up. In fact, there are several things that blatantly debunk that notion. 1) Kevin Fiege and everyone also at Marvel Studio all says it depends if the deal gets approved for Disney to buy. 2) Constantine Films gave the rights of F4 to 20th Century Fox in the past. 3) Even if it was true are selling the studio not the Marvel properties. So it wouldn’t apply. Who are these MCU fans that won't leave the X-men fans alone? This board has next to no issues on it. No one comes to this board and slags off these movies. The F4 rights is kinda like the Spider-man deal. Fox make the movies, but Constantin still has the rights.

Incredible Hulk was a Box Office bomb. That movie, although part of the MCU, was produced by Universal studios which is handled by Comcast.
