I was getting bored with the board so to speak. The same old arguments are just repeated over and over. There is the growing perception by atheists they missed something important, but they don't seem to admit that ever. So let's explore the new territory of creative misanthropy.

Well, upon reading this thread, if occurred to me that you are the perfect example of a misanthrope. The fact that you realised it and made this thread, perhaps elevates (or lowers according to your perspective) you to being a 'creative misanthrope'. Here are some helpful points on the subject' 'Advantages: Strong familiarity with human behaviour ( particularly the negatives ) Ability to identify, and avoid, people with negative traits Little or no stress to impress people ( since you don’t like them anyway ) Unique “outsider” perspective on society ( good for things like comedy ) Disadvantages: Feelings of disconnection/isolation from the rest of society May find “normal” people difficult to understand Constant irritation/anger/disgust/frustration/… with humanity Existential despair ' I hope this aids you in your quest for something negative.

Some of my finest ' creations ' are made up of lots of typographic squiggles which imply wondrous things to those with the ability to understand it....a bit like your God really! Ya gotta be 'in the know' though, or it is all bullshit!

Actually yes (by the way only responding to the question here not the topic in the OP), I'm very much less creative in my writings when things are going well and I am content with life.

I shan't compare thee to a summer’s day. Thou aren't more lovely and more temperate: Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May, And summer’s lease hath all too short a date: Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines, And often is his gold complexion dimm’d; And every fair from fair sometime declines, By chance, or nature’s changing course, untrimm’d: But thy eternal summer will still fade, And lose possession of that 'fair' thou ow’st; Then shall Death brag thou wander’st in his shade, When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st: So long as men can breathe, or eyes can see, So long lives this, and so: I'm sick of thee.

By "creative" is often meant "'improvements" or "progress," I think.

"is love, sweet love." (Somebody had to say it. Or sing it rather.) It was once reported that the word people searched the most in an online dictionary was "love." Oh, did anyone just now look it up?
