The LEGO Batman Movie didn’t perform particularly well, and JL flopped. Batman will always be popular. Are you not a fan of Matt Reeves? Other than Nolan I can't think of anyone who could do better with Batman than Reeves. Are you just that burnt out on the character?

Burnt out. I guess if I didn't love the character so much I might be burnt out as well, but I think Reeves will keep things interesting. I expect to get a movie on the same level of Batman Begins and Batman (1989).

DC should just give Batman a rest, concentrate on other characters. Heck, do an MOS2 film first, do a proper Green Lantern, do a Deathstroke movie. DCEU needs to learn to get out from their comfort zone.

That Ben is leaving (again) then who should be the next Batman?? Honestly I do want him to stay for a few more films but I guess he cant stay forever. I do hope he gets the chance to redeem himself at least but im not sure that will happen. So who could play the new younger Batman?? Jake Gylenhaall is a good choice but he is with Marvel now and has denied the rumors. I bet Armie Hammer could do good. Who do you think?? Let's start another dirty rumor. "The Batman" is just a cover for "Batman Beyond". Affleck is still Bruce Wayne and the younger Batman is Terry McGinnis.

Garrett Hedlund (he is the right age to build a franchise around , good actor, tall, muscular & can do the whole "dark & brooding" thing really well) . Hedlund would be my choice for sure!

He turned down CAPTAIN AMERICA though, but I don't remember anymore if he just didn't want that role, or he wasn't interested in a second Disney franchise after TRON: LEGACY's sequel never got made. Although you are right, he is the right build for it, he does that kind of stuff very well (see FOUR BROTHER, UNBREAKABLE, and/or MUD), he's the right age for that kind of thing, and he is an excellent actor. He disappears into his roles. Honestly, if not for the fairly distinct voice, sometimes I couldn't catch it was him from one role to another.

Garrett Hedlund was in Unbroken, not Unbreakable. And Mudbound, not Mud.

Serious question; how well does Batman generally sell these days? I’m talking in terms of comic books and merchandise. What are the latest stats on how popular he currently is?
