That Ben is leaving (again) then who should be the next Batman?? Honestly I do want him to stay for a few more films but I guess he cant stay forever. I do hope he gets the chance to redeem himself at least but im not sure that will happen. So who could play the new younger Batman?? Jake Gylenhaall is a good choice but he is with Marvel now and has denied the rumors. I bet Armie Hammer could do good. Who do you think??

Batfleck is done playing Batman. The rumor is true. Batman will now be played by a black lesbian.

Armie Hammer is not a bad choice for Batman at all; it'd also be his second chance since Miller's JL:Mortal was cancelled. If they were simply gonna replace Affleck but keep the character around the same age, my money is on Karl Urban.

If they're going to mess up the entire casting/timeline anyway might as well cast Joe Manganiello for the role. He honestly deserves a shot. Failing him, go for Jon Hamm.

I'd see him more like as Hawkman or Orion.

There was mention that Jake Gyllenhaal could be considered. I think he would make a convincing batman.

I think you mean a black bisexual transgender who identifies as a Asian gay man who is trapped in the body of a Jewish woman who was born a man born a woman that identify itself as a non gender robot that was made in the eye of a Cuban asexual half man half woman. So frankly next batman is going to be a centaur.

Here's a question, if they re-cast, will they keep him older? They hinted that Batman had been around for a long time, but never REALLY said it in the films anywhere.
If they keep him around Ben's age, I'll throw out random names, Brad Pitt, Ethan Hawke, Patrick Dempsey, John Hamm (though he looks more like Superman), Karl Urban, Hell, get Clooney back...he was a better Bruce Wayne than the movie deserved (though he'd never do it)
Though I think Justin Theroux is a solid thought...
If they go younger it could be just about anybody.

I hope its younger so the actor can grow in the role.

I always liked the Jon Hamm suggestion, but he'd have to drop the comedic portion of his acting ability and that might limit how good he really is.
Still, Jon Hamm as Bruce Wayne in a Batman movie directed by Matt Reeves sounds amazing.

I still dont get why they want a new actor just keep Ben, I have wanted to see him in his own movie since I saw BVS.

If they go younger it could be just about anybody. Actually, after seeing RED (Where he plays Agent Cooper) and seeing a couple scenes from THE LOFT, I would totally buy Urban as Bruce Wayne and as Batman. And his having been in the MCU doesn't preclude him, as there have been actors who were in both. Honestly, I do think he would do an excellent job. And he's a geek in real life, so that's always a bonus cause you figure that means he will work to make it right. He'll have some passion for it, or at least for the fans. If they are going to stay with older (I will define that as 'over 40', for the purposes of this discussion), then there are several good choices -Richard Armitage, age 47 -Karl Urban, age 46 -Idris Elba, age 46 -Sam Witwer, age 41 -Josh Lucas, age 47 -Tom Wisdom, age 45 (alternately, he could be Alfred if they go for a younger Bruce/Batman- the guy was a Spartan in 300) If they go younger (say 27-39yrs old), then... -Enver Gjokaj, age 38 -Luke Evans, age 39 -John Kransinski, age 39 -Toby Kebbell, age 35 Also, I have some ideas for a Robin, such as Alex Hogh Anderson - and for Alfred, Tom Wisdom to a younger-Bruce, James D'arcy if they go for an especially young (college age) Bruce Wayne.

I’m sounding like a broken record at this point, but just give the character a rest? Do people even care about Batman anymore?
