I don't think the Mother Boxes can resurrect the dead. Only Superman. And I think it only ignited the codex in his body to bring him back. He wasn't really dead to begin with, BvS ended with the implication he was healing somehow anyways. Because the continuity sucks. They forgot how to story.

The Infinity Stones or the Mother Boxes? DC fans, you'll have to forgive me if I have absolutely no clue what the MB's are supposed to be or do in the context of the DCEU. They appear to have multiple random powers that help move the plot along at specific intervals. The Infinity Jelly Beans are guilty of this to a lesser degree but, let's look a little closer at these Mutha Boxes. Mother Boxes can: * Resurrect the dead * Terraform worlds (specifically into "hells scapes") * Fuse biological life with machine life * Provide unlimited energy * Make pretty Disney-style multi-colored fauna I don't think the Mother Boxes can resurrect the dead. Only Superman. And I think it only ignited the codex in his body to bring him back. That's fair but, they do seem to at least be able to spontaneously create biological life (as evidenced by the ending of Justice League were a garden starts growing out of the dormant tendrils of the hellscape construct). And here is another odd inconsistency that proves the Mother Boxes were not exceptionally well thought out. During the ancient battle between Darkseid's forces and United Earth/Green Lantern Corps., Zeus separates the Mother Boxes with a single lightning bolt. Flash forward to modern times, and it takes the combined strength of Superman and Cyborg to achieve the same feat. Is Zeus more powerful than Superman and, if so, since Ares killed Zeus, is Ares more potent than both of them? Anyway, I digress. What this all means is that Wonder Woman could have separated the Unity with her "god killer" lightning.

Her ability to create a forcefield that disintegrates things that attack her would've been handy against Steppenwolf's Axe and her power to absorb and redirect energy attacks would've been handy against Doomsday.

She did use a bracelets attack against Steppenwolf. Somehow, it had very limited range and it only destroyed a bridge that Cyborg and Steppenwolf were standing on. Niether of them was harmed.
