Has anyone else, besides me, been collecting these?
I think they are very nice representations of the original toys.
But, sadly, they aren't poseable and they don't transform...

I need that Starscream.
I've got Prime and Megatron ornaments, but they aren't based on G1.

I need that Starscream. I've got Prime and Megatron ornaments, but they aren't based on G1. Huh? The photos I posted ARE based on the G1 Toys... Which I noted... I had Optimus Prime, and a friend of mine had Megatron. I also had Grimlock & Soundwave too. Again, that is what the toys looked like! As for Starscream, I can't be 100% certain if it is a perfect match. I only had Thundercracker. But they were based on the same mold, and it looks very close to what Thundercracker looked like. I case you didn't know, most of the early Transformers toys were recycled from older product toy lines, such as Diaclone... I think, Megatron was recycled from a ( "Man From U.N.C.L.E." ?) product... Shockwave was recycled from a "Radio Shack" toy. I remember seeing the original in the "Radio Shack" store as a young kid. Some of the older product line toys even came with little figurines. They were discontinued when they were rebranded as Transformers. The cartoon was created afterwards and the robot modes in the cartoon/comic appearances didn't quite match up. It wasn't until, about, "Transformers: The Movie" was in production, that Hasbro started making all new "Transformers" toys, which looked more like what we saw in the Cartoon/Comics.

They're based more on the Dreamwave versions. Ohh, I see... Good Call. I think I saw pictures of those, while looking for images of the ornaments to post in this thread... I loved how well drawn Dreamwave depicted the robot modes. Yeah, over the years some companies have re-designed the re-releases of G1 toys, Ornaments, and such, to look more like the show & the comics. They do look much better. I picked up the Masterpiece Skywarp from Walmart a few years ago. It's incredible!
