long after
the interstate highway system
was in place
and just before
we sent hydrogen projectiles
into space
the government of the people
decided
you can't be totally free
unless
we see
our boot print tattooed
all over your face
such is the nature
of power
in a vacuum where
you're meant to believe
everything's
in its proper place.
