It was the wording of your sentence. You watched a review that spoiled it. It wasn't a review. It was more a video wiki. Also, not upset. Well, not about what you said anyway. Looking back at it now, I could've worded it better. But I wasn't mad about being spoiled so I didn't even think about it that way. 'Video summary' I guess would be the term, or perhaps 'spoiler review.' Anyway, I'm glad I watched it because it convinced me to stick with the show even though I know what's going to happen. As it stands, I already liked episode 2 much more than episode 1. I really want to see where it goes next. They did good this season.

So yeah, now I'm five episodes in and I'm really digging it. The story is excellent even if I don't think some of the character elements were earned. Throughout the Netflix series, Luke has been the most level headed hero of them all, yet suddenly he's embittered and pissed off at the world. They did a poor job explaining this shift in his personality, they should have built it up slowly and had him lose his shit somewhere around episode 5 or 6. Instead by episode 2 his frustration over nothing has him bitching at Claire about being judged by others. I'm all for taking him in a new direction, I just think they could've gone about it in a better way.
Overall the story is solid, though. Bushmaster is an intriguing villain and Mariah has more depth to her than ever before. The deep cuts from the comics are fantastic; bringing in Nightshade and Misty getting her bionic arm. Also, other than Defenders, this season feels the most interconnected with the rest of the Netflix universe among all the shows thus far. Colleen, Foggy, Rand Industries; it truly feels like the shared universe it's supposed to be.
One more note, once again the music is incredible this season, particularly the Blues artists. The showrunners clearly put effort into making sure the show has its own unique voice. The city and the club are characters unto themselves, you care about what happens there. That's world building 101.

I just went through Season 1 in preparation for this and it's actually better than I remembered.
Cotton Mouth was a great villain. Really lost out by offing him in the first half to swap him for the mediocre Diamondback.

I'm on Episode 8 now. Season 2 has been pretty good so far! Bushwhacker is a great villain, definitely better than Diamondback. Hopefully the season ends on a good note.

I was enjoying it, but Cage keeps making choices that are ruining it, for me. Misty too. They keep letting Mariah off the hook, for one. I've just finished episode 10 and was shaking my head the whole time - how can Cage justify letting the survivor go back to Jamaica? What's to stop Mariah from killing her there? He thought it was a better idea than putting her in police protection? Then Cage keeps beating up the 'bad guys', and I understand that he doesn't want to kill anyone, but instead of turning them into the police, he let's them live to go back to being 'bad' again. I will say though, I do like Bushmaster. I think he's a great 'villain'.
I agree with another poster on here: Danny is looking way better than he looked in his own series.

Hee hee hee... Season two makes an incredible case for a Power Man and Iron Fist TV show. Power Man and Iron Fist both started off in their own comics and, after a short period of explosive growth, both series experienced flagging sales. Neither character reached their full potential until they were paired alongside the other in Power Man and Iron Fist. It may work out the same for them on TV. Sweet Christmas.

I'm 9 episodes in now and it keeps getting better. Not every Netflix show has me wanting to watch the next episode immediately, but this one is in that territory now.

I've only seen the first 2 episodes. Hopefully I will be able to knock out a few more this week because there is less stuff to watch on TV this week.

Finished Season 2 at the weekend...pretty damn fine. Shades was much more interesting. Alfre Woodard was engrossing throughout...a contender for one of the best comic book villains on TV

For whatever reason my phone keeps changing Bushmaster to Bushwhacker. It did that with Thanos by changing it to thanks. Lol

I'm watching episode 1 now. Surprised it's directed by Lucy Liu. Also surprised to see Reg E. Cathey in it.

There's a lot of technical learning involved and work is crowding me right now... I'm on track to resume development around mid July.
