SPOILERS !!!
I am glad old man Lanister is dead. But I really wanted to see Cerse get it. She is really a bad person. And she stated she always hated her dwarf brother.
Both old man Lanister and Cerse supported her first son as king. He was a murderous psychopath.
Her incestuous lover brother seems to have been humbled and found morality as a result of losing his hand. I kinda like him now. He used to be a bad guy.
King Joffrey's death was disappointing. I wanted him to suffer pain and humiliation. He deserved it. Poisoning was too easy for him.
Now that I think about it, Cerse could be in trouble now. Her father is no longer around to take care of things. And maybe they are setting her up for some kind of "come to Jesus" moment later on in the show.

I must admit that I liked Lannister old man because of his good acting abilities and dominant personality. He exuded command and authority more than anyone else. I didn't care about the Lannister prince. He was a horrible and nasty person. The only regret I have is that Arya didn't get to kill that scum.

I'll eat that imp Tywin was my favourite character, my spirit animal. I fell in love with Cersei a second time in this episode. As if that had been necessary… There never was a Lannister prince, he was a Baratheon king.

But the character was awful. All the people he killed, tortured, raped and allowed killed, tortured and raped by his family members. Joffrey was not fit to be king. But old man Lanister allowed him to practice masochistic mayhem. And old man Lanister didn't respect his dwarf son. He tried and convicted his dwarf son of a murder he knew he was not guilty of. And was willing to allow him to be executed. He was a terrible person.

Yes, the actors are good. And their acting jobs were good. But their characters were terrible people.

So far (season 4), Arya is my favorite character. She left the Hound to die and you call the Lannisters bad people? The Hound was on her list of those who deserve to die. (I never could remember why. I guess something to do with her dad.) The Lanisters kill for fun. Arya kills for justice.

The Lanisters kill for fun. Arya kills for justice. The Lannisters kill by necessity and in self-defence. Arya does by pure resentment and self granted right to judge others. She wanted the Hound dead because he was ordered to kill the butcher's boy by Joffrey. She's a piece of shit.

He killed out of boredom. They knew it. They allowed him to do so with no consequence. Jaime was a bad person until he got his hand cut off. Cerse is one of the worst people on the whole show. Arya has morals. There was no law back then (medieval times or Westeros). Arya doesn't kill strangers for convenience. The Lanisters do. And all the people on her list killed for less than a just reason --- which is why they are on her list.

And who decides for the Lanisters who they have the right to kill? That was the way things were. There was no justice system, law, police, lawyers, judges, courts, etc. Arya justice decisions are based on morals. Murderers must die. She doesn't kill anybody for convenience or ambition. The Lanisters do. Daenerys is trying to do the right thing. She is queen. She is the law.

But that is not the Lanisters of Game of Thrones. He is a fan-boy. While he sometimes makes good posts, he is very biased towards Lannisters. All the Lannister crimes are forgiven by him and justified as rational need of the situation. At the same time he harbours disgust towards great souls like Lord Eddard Stark and courageous heros like Arya, who is possibly the only person apart from Ser Davos who actually cares for common people.

the only person apart from Ser Davos who actually cares for common people. Davos supported the man who went on an unnecessary war. He stayed true to him because Stannis had raised his station and made him a rich man, taken him out of this "common people" for whom he affects to care but not enough to be disturbed at the prospect of taking their city by force with the help of an army of pirates. If Davos "cares for the common people", he is a hypocrite. If not, those who believe he does are fools.

He also believed that Stannis was a just human being. He had seen his justice. He had felt his justice. And you have made into a premise that the war was unnecessary. Lannister rule which had already produced a wicked king in Joffrey is fine but Stannis's war against unjust people and false heir is unnecessary? That's a biased way of looking at things.

And you have made into a premise that the war was unnecessary. Lannister rule which had already produced a wicked king in Joffrey is fine but Stannis's war against unjust people and false heir is unnecessary? That's a biased way of looking at things. There was nothing wrong with Robert's rule and certainly nothing that warranted a war to replace his son. Davos says in this very scene that he follows Stannis because of what he owes him. You choose to ignore it and invent another motive for him because you want to like him. You also choose to invent that others went to war against Joffrey "because he was wicked" when that point was never made by any of them. Stannis went to war because he had an excuse for it, not because it was needed. That makes you the blind and biased one, in addition to advocating war for the benefit of one privileged individual.
