do you plan to live forever or is it that you just dont want one? if the latter then make sure those around you know this and know how serious you are. people fail the dead ones too often.

Crack me up Nora ! When I go, whenever that may be, I wouldn't want to be self-aggrandizing about anything. The body is just a temporary vessel for us anyway to live out our journey and purpose. A dead body that is no longer the container for my being, will no-longer be relevant for the person that I identified as and others identified me as. It would be a momentary thing and for whoever will be around to make whatever arrangements, I would prefer for those that are still living and knew me and\or care, for them to make whatever they feel would be the most appropriate presentation for a service. Funerals are ultimately about honoring the life and shouldn't be so much about pride and superficialities. i get it. with your scrawny little homo body that makes sense . but what about my voluptuous triple D god sent gift to humanity? that needs to be celebrated properly :-)

Of course the whole part of you needs celebrating, we will all suffer a great loss. well wel well, I see someone is working hard to get on my funeral guest list…! Consider yourself being considered.

No. I wouldn't say you are a weirdo but that is something I have never even thought about and is a bit grim Nora.

My parents took out a funeral / memorial plan so when they pass, the funeral arrangements and expenses are all taken care of. I haven't decided if I should get one.

In a sense I wish but then again hope to be on this earth as the good Lord willing for up to 100 years?! well i presume we all hope for that, but you never know. and its good to have it planned before hand Planning is everything. I mean one of my primary reasons for losing weight is so I am not too heavy for a standard amount of men to carry my casket when I go. also dont want to bring embarrassment upon the house of Nora if they have to purchase an XXL coffin…

Or is that just me who had planned their funeral already? I love planning my funeral. I re-do it probably once a year. Since I was 15 or 16 I guess. I wanna make sure its state of art and precisely according to my wishes, when I go. Most of my relatives have very precise instructions, there is a guest list that I periodically update and whoever is not on it simply cannot get in. All the music is planned out, the place, the speaker, my dress, what the tombstone should say, with what I wanna be buried in my hand and all. I never really talked about it with other people, as I have always thought everybody does this. I am finding out its not the case. So… how about a poll here. Is your funeral planned already? :-) Ps: yes I have been called a control freak. But I don't agree I am just not gonna leave the last event I will ever "be" at up to random planning of potentially random strangers. You're not a control freak, just someone who plans ahead. Nobody wants to think about dying suddenly but it can happen which is why many get life insurance. Same with funeral arrangements. When you die, it's better to have everything ready in advance so your grieving loved ones don't have to agonize over the details. Would he/she want the casket closed or open? What kind of music should we play? What should we put on the tombstone etc. Dying can be expensive and arrangements a hassle, so planning ahead eases your family's burden.

Okay. Are you a fan of Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore Nora? I love Drew Barrymore and own the majority of her movies on DVD and VHS and I loved 'The Wedding Singer', '50 First Dates' and 'Blended' (even though the last one wasn't as popular as the other two) and I recently heard they might be making a fourth movie together. I am surprised they haven't made a sequel to 'The Wedding Singer.' I remember there was talk of it at one time but nothing came out of it.
