Happy Birthday! It's just an awesome feeling that she is around us. I probably liked her sister a bit more but I also liked her performances.

Happy birthday to the great lady! I think I loved her most in her Oscar winning turn in The Heiress(1949).

I read an interview with her from last year. Impressive her memory is still good.
I watched A Midsummer Night's Dream recently.

Happy Birthday Olivia!!! The unofficial title "Queen Of Technicolor" has been bestowed on the likes of Maureen O'Hara, Maria Montez and Lucille Ball, but in 1938-39, it belonged indisputably to Olivia. Those two years saw her starring in no fewer than five Technicolor films: Gold Is Where You Find It, The Adventures Of Robin Hood (1938), Dodge City, The Private Lives Of Elizabeth and Essex and Gone With the Wind (1939).

Yes, I wish Miss de Havilland a very happy birthday, and good health as well. She is one of the last of the great stars of the classic era.

I want to know if she's the oldest person to bring a lawsuit.

I want to know if she's the oldest person to bring a lawsuit. AND A BIRTHDAY TRIBUTE THREAD IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO DO SO.

It is so great to have her still with us, on this her 103rd birthday. I have admired her films since I was a teenager, largely because my mother had done so long before I was born. I first saw "Gone With the Wind" in the major 1967 re-release. Hard to believe it has been 52 years. At the premiere for this she were the only principal member of the cast that was still living and could attend. Victor Fleming and David O. Selznick were also already gone. She really knew a lot of very interesting folk that have departed from us long ago.
What is her secret to a long and healthy life? .... "the three Lβs β love, laughter and light," according to Vanity Fair. Apparently she also does the New York Times crossword puzzle every day, which she has done since she was a teenager.

Two of my favorite actors. Olivia de Havilland with Humphrey Bogart in 1953 accepting the best actress and best actor trophies at the Picturegoer annual award luncheon at the iconic Savoy hotel in London.
