So which of these 2 animated series do you think was the best ?
Superman the animated series (1996-2000) or Batman the animated series (1992-1995)
I like both shows but i think Batman the animated series was better

Definitely the Batman one. It had better villains and a good number of them. Superman on the other hand relied a little too much on Lex Luthor. I also think Batman TAS also had more memorable episodes.

Neither of them hold up very well, but they aren’t the worst the DCAU has to offer. I guess I’d say B:TAS is better for the simple fact that it gave us The Mask of the Phantasm. With that being said, if you count The New Batman Adventures as part of B:TAS, it becomes significantly worse, in my opinion.
Edit: Just to be clear, neither show is really what I’d consider to be bad (again, at least if you don’t count TNBA). I just don’t think they deserve to be viewed as masterpieces.

Batman: TAS I think has more rewatch value and more of a stylish look to it in the animation, but Superman: TAS is pretty great too.

Batman: The Animated Series by far for me. I discovered B:TAS long after it was on—I’d always been more of a Supes than a Bats fan, and from what I’d seen of it it didn’t quite seem like ‘my thing’—but when I did discover it, I loved it. Great ‘dieselpunk’ setting (like The Rocketeer or Sky Captain) and film noir sensibility, great characterization and character-design, great dialogue and voice-acting… I’m repeating “great” a lot, but I think it’s a wonderful show. I think Hamill’s simply the best Joker, and Conroy’s Batman is close to the best Batman as well (I hold out for Keaton and West, but… I like them all, for the most part).
I like Superman: The Animated Series as well, but it’s definitely not the best iteration of the Superman mythos, and it’s not as detailed or as well-characterized as the Batman show (though Dana Delany is a great Lois). It’s still very good, but the best Superman animated episode, I think, is, amusingly enough, from Justice League Unlimited—“For the Man who Has Everything.” Exceedingly well-done.

I like both, but BTAS is a phenomenal show. It's still an amazing achievement of animation and gave an entire generation its definitive take on so many of the characters. The look of the show is still beautiful, and the voice acting ranks among the best of all time.
However, STAS gave us the true expansion of the DCAU. From Superman we got The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and most importantly, The New Gods, all of which go on to play bigger more important roles in Justice League/JLU.
Still, I give it to Batman. It's truly timeless and a classic.

Solid tie.
Both did an amazing job of capturing the characters. The voices in the shows are still the voices I hear when I read the comics.
