I'm going with the third website because "The Bard" was a lame episode. I was bored out of my mind with the hour-long episode, "The Incredible World of Horace Ford". That said, I actually liked "The Big Tall Wish", "Spur of the Moment", "Once Upon a Time", "The Sixteen-Millimeter Shrine", and "The Fever". I do agree with the first website that "The Bewitchin' Pool" was a disappointing series finale. BTW, the fourth link is a dead link. I have an Internet archive of it.

IMPO - For me honestly there has never been a " worst episode " of the original Twilight Zone
but there have been episodes that were not stand-out ones or favorites for me here either .
However sometimes I do watch on my DVD Collection
the episodes that are not my top favorites every once in awhile
to add on to a form of unique binge watch marathon to view
and it also depends on my mood on that day as well .
Thanks so much RiP, IMDb for your subject post .
PS - I really like your current Avatar here too - quite adorable indeed SUPER-KITTY !!

I think one of the greatest elements of the show was how, to quote Forrest Gump, it was like a box of chocolates--you never knew what you were gonna get. Sometimes the episodes were immediately chilling; sometimes they were goofy; sometimes they were sitcom-ish and didn't work at all. Sometimes they didn't seem to be about much of anything ("The Fever," "A Penny For Your Thoughts") until you re-watched them over a period of many years and you finally realized their deeper meanings.
All the sites mention "The Bewitchin' Pool." I have to agree with that one, mainly for the bad dubbing and the overacting of the parents. The episodes with Ed Wynn are clunky, "Cavender is Coming" is too unfunnily "comedic" and has that annoying laugh track, and "Sounds and Silences" is pointless. "Last Night of a Jockey" is pretty bad, and "Mr. Dingle the Strong" is silly and only gets worse when that ridiculous papier-mache "alien" shows up. The "Electric Grandmother" episode is so treacly that you can almost hear Rod Serling wince as he provides his narration toward the end of the episode. One episode that isn't mentioned is "Little Girl Lost," which is a thin idea that seems to go on too long. I do like "Young Man's Fancy" and "Spur of the Moment," however. That each episode can still be debated today for its quality only emphasizes the timelessness of this show.

I totally agree with you here Jay
is another favorite of mine also .
IMPO - It's a clever yet delightful storyline indeed ( and a perfect way to wrap up this show if it had to be ) .

Unwanted kids had a home to go to and they got to eat a lot of cake and cookies too Though that was sad that those kids' parents were such terrible people

When this episode was on the SyFy Marathons
also on the old board
I would always comment on
the monster sized cakes
and say how I would do chores like shine shoes
for a huge slice of that awesome looking cake this made me want to go live with Aunt T .
I agree Sport & Jeb's parents were so mean and selfish
I didn't blame those kids for wanting to leave either ( Aunt T was the ultimately cool child guardian for sure !! ) .

Ohhh those cakes I would probably gain a lot of weight there. But probably Aunt T whips them into shape with a lot of chores. Oh and I forgot to mention the unsung hero of this episode. Rocky the squirrel!

( the famous voice that made it's awesome TZ Rounds ? ) .
I agree those monster cakes were
no doubt very high in calories etc. .
Aunt T would have to make me jog around
her house about 100+ times to work that off and would be my biggest chore for the day .

Oh wow that was the same voice on the Tina episode? I did not even realize that Speaking of cakes, I have been making a pig of myself tonight with all these pastries they gave us at work. And pizza too. So I think I need to do those 100 laps you were talking about

I am surprised that "The Gift" was included on three of the lists. That is one of my favorite episodes.
The one including "The Hunt" also baffles me.
I can see how some wouldn't like "The Bewitchin' Pool", but I thought it was pretty enjoyable.

The last one doesn't exist anymore: " This Domain Name Has Expired - Renewal Instructions."... I tried the archive link, that the one poster provided, but it wouldn't load for me... So I can't vote on that one... I'll vote them in order, from Top (Agree) to Bottom (Disagree)... There were a couple in the last two lists, that I liked... " King Nine Will Not Return" was in the last group. That was one of the ones I liked... I'm surprised that one was picked as being one of the worst... Many of the stories in the series were pure fiction... But, this particular story, was based in part, on a true story... In my opinion, that should have been enough to kept it off all of the lists! Or maybe, the list maker, just didn't know this?

The once a year holiday indulgence
it's not a crime so no worries Jay .
I say enjoy and have another piece of Aunt T's special Birthday cake .
