Two or more people were walking together. One fell in what appeared to be deep, wide hoke. He commented about the hole and another person said that it wasn’t a hole. The camera panned back to show he had fallen into a giant footprint.

Didn't the 1976 King Kong did the same thing?

Didn't the 1976 King Kong did the same thing? I don't have a vivid memory of that movie, small-scene wise. I saw it when it was first in the theaters, and have loved Jessica Lange ever since But there was a scene when Kong first appears that really threw me off, and I will not discuss it

Thanks everyone, it was King Kong. I was thinking it had to be a dinosaur movie because of the huge footprint.
