Unbelievable, in this day and age. Right now I am imputing data for a genealogist, and so many of the graves in the old cemeteries have children in them. Families would have multiple children because they knew at least one or two would die in infancy. Why people stay in a primitive belief system when medical science has discovered so much, is completely beyond me.

Okay, Creped. Thanks for the heads-up.

It astounds me that anyone would forego modern medical treatment. If they want to pray too... whatever, but GO TO THE DOCTOR, for life's sake.

I don’t really think twice about it if an adult would choose to forego medical treatment. Especially if it were something like chemo and whatnot. But your child...kinda got to do what you can for them until they’re old enough to let themselves die.

True, Marv, because even though chemo extended my life by several decades, I should have the right to say no to it as an adult, knowing how miserable I was the first time. But kids... they are too young to make those kinds of choices.
