Yes.
Power Ranger’s opinion is irrelevant because he’s not real. He doesn’t exist.

Yeah he's okay. I don't have a problem with him playing Lex.

No, you’re not the only one. I, for one, thought the performance excellent and unexpected.

No, you’re not the only one. I, for one, thought the performance excellent and unexpected. There is no way anyone really believes this. He should win the all time Razzie for worst performance.

I don't dislike the casting on paper. But goddamn it if he's far and away from what I expected his take to be like. I was expecting to see basically his Mark Zuckerberg character but permanently stuck in his more villainous mood, not the jittery schizophrenic nutjob that even Jim Carter may find too ott.

I liked his characterization.
Hated the script he was given.

He was too eccentric in the role.

I didn't hate it, but I didn't love it either. I would have preferred a more macho, in control version, as opposed to a nerd with quirks version.
But I think of it like this... imagine a twerp, a kid who was treated like crap by his parents, and bullied at school, and then he grows up and inherits one of the worlds great fortunes... might not you be a vindictive, controlling, little shit too?! That's what this version was. Strange choice, but at least they tried something different.
If the after credits scene of Justice League is any indication they're already going in a different direction with him... if we ever see him again, that is...

I liked Jesse Eisenberg as Lex. Though I did find his little laugh extremely annoying.

Eh, I dunno what to make him still, but I think he did fine in the JL post credits scene.

He was more like Jim Carreys Edward Nygma.

He was too eccentric in the role. In a movie where every other character was dull and brooding, thats not really a bad thing.

he was ok, I'm not a fan of the actor or of emo-manchildren as villains. It's a persisting Young Adult trope - we have it now in SW with KyloRen and in MCU with Loki too. All look and feel the same.
But I am aware that DC must keep the Lex character (who has been brilliantly impersonated many times already) fresh, as they did with the Joker. And it worked here as lex was a sick schemer, not a physical threat, and he had some good dialogue.

I remember the pre BvS days after the trailer dropped when DCU die hards tried to pretend that the Lex in the trailer was only being an ahole to throw Batman and Superman off the scent. "The real Lex won't be anything like that!"
