He was more like Jim Carreys Edward Nygma. Precisely.

Just ask yourself this: When you hear the name Lex Luthor, what's the mental image you have of him? Is it a 5'7 skinny dweeb who's jittery, all over the place and immature to boot?

A Mark Zuckerberg approach to the character would have been interesting. Unfortunately it ended up more Jim Carrey Edward Nygma.

In my opinion, it was a good performance but not necessarily a good Lex Luthor performance. Luthor should be cold and calculating with a serious demeanor, not quirky and awkward like a mad scientist. But I have a feeling that Eisenberg will eventually become more like the Luthor we're all more familiar with over the course of these films. His acting in BvS would have been perfect for the Riddler, however.
