Say what you will about Hogan, but one of the best things was when Hogan joined Nash and Hall in the NWO. Not sure if it was at Bash at the Beach.

I mean it makes sense for WWE. He's still going to be super over I'm sure. I've just always hated him and I think he's a piece of shit human being and never wanted to see him come back again. I knew it was only a matter of time though.

Hulk Hogan is the most important wrestler of all time. The entire WWE was built on his back.

Hogan will return to TV and his new gimmick will be to call the police on random black people for just being there. New Day will need a pancake permit.

Hogan should go out the right way. He of all people deserve it, due to his influence on the WWE.
However, I wouldn't drag it out. Have him come in around September, get in some storyline where he faces someone big. Let it build to WrestleMania next year, he wins the title one last time. The build up could be that "Win, Lose, or Draw, it's his last match" that's the PPV seller. Then on RAW the next night (in Montreal, it has to be Montreal Canada), he officially retires. They make the whole show one big tribute to the man. He officially retires once and for all. He gives up the belt, and there is going to be a playoff for it, culminating at the next PPV where the winner of the tourney gets the title.

I really can't disagree with this more. In the world of professional wrestling you go out on your back not winning the World Championship and then retiring. Outside of unplanned injuries forcing you to retire ala Edge that is. However I'm sure Hogan's massive inflated ego wouldn't mind it one bit. If Hogan were to have one last match (which I hope he doesn't because he's a piece of shit and I don't want to see him ever again) he should do so putting someone over not named Roman Reigns. Maybe have Braun squash him in 20 seconds. In no way shape or form should Hogan hold the World title again in any circumstance. That would be worse than Brock holding the belt for over a year and defending it 4 times.

Retirements in wrestling are a hard thing to uphold apparently.

Retirements in wrestling are a hard thing to uphold apparently. It was as "real" a retirement as it gets in pro wrestling. She won the championship and then announced her retirement and has only come back for special events, like the 1st Women's Royal Rumble this year. Yes, "retirements" in wrestling don't always mean they'll never wrestle again. Kurt Angle was supposed to be "retired" but he wrestled at WrestleMania this year in Ronda Lousey's debut match. But for all intents and purposes, Kurt Angle is "retired", except for the occasional special events.

It's an unwritten rule for wrestling that you go out on your back putting somebody else over. That's what the greats have done because they care about the business. Hogan has shown time and time again that he cares about himself going over compared to the business so it's not out of the realm of possibility that he does win the belt again and then retire. I feel that situation shouldn't be his own to make/book. Hogan winning the belt does nothing for the company right now as nobody would gain the push from taking it from him if he just retired with it. You'd also be making whoever he beat for the belt look like a fool. I would like to think that the current talent in the WWE would fight against something like that and refuse to put Hogan over when he's not going to do the same for them.
