Man, I remember being so pumped for the movie when I saw this trailer. I was definitely a bit less cynical when this was released and didn't question it too much. The music in it was great and epic and felt like a story from the Justice League cartoon. DC knows how to put a trailer out (Justice League kinda being the exception). Of course, when the film came out though... BvS has grown on me a little bit. There is a lot wrong with it, but it has its moments.

Yeah, the trailers did a decent job of hiding how much a mess it was. Perhaps that one trailer that showed Doomsday was the first red flag though.

I knew from all the trailers that it was going to be a disaster.

Such a great trailer, raised my expectations quite a bit when I saw it. Wish the movie was more like the trailer in that Superman went to D.C. to discuss the Black Zero event and Alfred was more defensive of the man of steel.
Still curious why they NEVER released the comic-con teaser the year before in HD, or the Comic-Con trailer for Man of Steel - which was beautiful.

DC indeed knows how to put out a trailer, especially a Zack Snyder trailer. I haven't trusted one since Watchmen.

That trailer really made it look like the Joker was going to be a part of it (Robin costume and the note), but they were trying to hold his look back.

I knew from all the trailers that it was going to be a disaster. YES I DID!!!!!!!!!!! AS SOON AS I SAW "DIRECTED BY ZACK SNYDER," I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT TO EXPECT. ONE THING I DID GET WRONG IS THAT I THOUGHT IT WOULD SCORE LOWER THAN FANT4STIC ON ROTTEN TOMATOES.

I remember watching that trailer over and over again, it was one the most exciting trailers I'd seen in a long time.
Even the little Comic Con trailer where Batman turns on the spotlight and Superman is in the air was fantastic.
The Batman costume was great. The Batmobile was cool. The posters were good etc. It seemed like it was gonna be a good movie.
I don't think it deserved a 20-odd% on Rotten Tomatoes, I didn't dislike it but it was disappointing.

The comic Con trailer was amazing at the time.
