10 years ago on this day The Dark Knight was released in theaters.
Seems like just yesterday I was in line to see the film. Crazy how fast 10 years flew by!

2008, man that's when everything changed. Lest we forget, just a year prior, we suffered the triple threat of Spider-man 3, Ghost Rider, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

I remember back around the end of 2007 there was a concern about the dip in quality of cbm and how it was leading into some collapse. Then came 2008 with The Dark Knight and Iron Man.

A massive step down from Batman Begins. I remember being really disappointed.

I can't believe it's been 10 years. Seems odd to picture it being as old as Prince Caspian and The Mummy 3 but it's probably because even after all this time, it's still one of the most talked about movies.
It's still the best superhero movie. It'll always be that way now I imagine. It's basically The Lion King of Superhero movies. Not everyone agrees it's the best but the consensus is that it is.

MCU can never make a movie as great as TDK.

MCU can never make a movie as great as TDK. Iron Man 3 is better than Dark Knight in every way possible.

TDK is an all time classic, I consider it a drama instead of an action flick. The character dynamics are second to none. It was so good, three quarters of the audience don't even realize the bad guy won.
