It looks like it might be good. I don't know, it didn't grab me like I hoped it would.

I can see this going either way. The war scenes looked really cool though.

All these WW2 horror/scifi movies and yet we still hadn't got that Wolfenstein movie. Odd.

Total fuck-up right from the get-go.
There were no racially integrated U.S. combat units in WWII. African-Americans did NOT serve alongside whites in the paratroopers, that's for sure.
Now, I'm certainly not one of those rabid "anti-PC" zealots... but this is ridiculous. The movie, while horror, has a definite historical setting.
No difference between this and a movie featuring Mongolian or Maori soldiers fighting in Napoleon's army. Which would be stupid.

Yeah but multi-culturalists want to erase history.
One of these days they will do a WW 2 film where all of England and France are Black and Arab and the only bad guys are the whites in Germany.
They have that kind of lunatic audacity in Hollywood.

Instead of needlessly saddling themselves with a bullshit historical error (integrated American paratroopers in WWII), all the filmmakers had to do was set the story in Korea or Vietnam, exchanging the Nazis for Chinese or Russians.
But the Nazis had cooler-looking uniforms. And they didn't have to hire a bunch of Asian actors.
Fuck this movie.

Blacks can have their own things, but whites people don't.

That's what happens when you have a bunch of capitalists running Hollywood. African-Americans have money, and Hollywood wants it. A military-themed horror film, with a mostly male cast? Immediately write off a big chunk of the female audience. An all-white cast (the heroes and the Nazi villains)? Less minorities would want to see it.They figured most of the female audience was a lost cause, so they looked at GET OUT and decided that, well, maybe we can get a few black butts in seats with an African-American lead. Of course, all they had to do was set the scenario during the Korean or Vietnam wars... But then they couldn't use any of that "cool" Nazi iconography for the bad guys.

I was surprised to see this will be rated R (for strong bloody violence, disturbing images, language, and brief sexual content).
I'm a little more excited for it now.
