Deepens upon what kind of reader you may be. I found them pretty good. Impatient readers may not like them. The book can go on describing foods and clothes at great length. Have you ever read Anne Rice? She is a million times worse at being overly descriptive imo. Not read her ever but as a matter of fact I did like to read Martin's descriptions of these not so important things. They add up and make it relevant in the context of understanding the overall culture.

I mean...you need a decent amount of descriptive text to paint the world when reading novels. Helps create that immersion.

Oh ok. To be honest, Sansa is my least favorite character on the show. But I'm only in season four... Maybe she'll win my admiration in later seasons... I hope so , in all honesty Sansa is written like most 13 year olds act and I think she recieved such hate early on from fans judging how a teenager was thinking or do under a very difficult situation. Season 4 was very inetersting Sansa has definately won my admiration. I'm 9 episodes into season six and I really like her character now...

I never disliked Sansa but her status as a passive and all too naive prisoner was not very engaging. I liked her more in S1 than later, because she had at least something to struggle for. In the next two seasons, all she would do was dodge the worst and expose her blatant lack of maturity. I started to like her in S4, when she started to question Littlefinger on the ship. She was growing up at last, showing herself to him, but not to Lysa. By the end of S6, she is the only Stark I like, Cersei's "little dove" and Littlefinger's Queen on the chess board, conscious of it.

Every time I felt pity for Sansa in her plight with Jeoffry she would remind me of why I disliked her in the first place: her immaturity and conceited nature. Like when she was just mistreated by the king... but then snapped at Shae to "brush my hair! Empty my chamber pot!" I went from sympathy back to contempt very quickly. But now she is finally an adult with some self awareness and maturity. And the way she takes charge of her destiny now is badass. Looking forward to seeing her role in season seven.

Faced with some new handmaiden who didn't even seem to know her job and behaved without any form of respect, she must have smelled some intentional vexation from Joffrey or even a spy. Then she realised she wasn't quite sure of it and gave it a chance. A spy wouldn't be so obviously out of place.

Jeremiah Lannister Sandy Clegane Dani Daniels Margaret Supreme Leader Ben Swolo Well...I was just joking. I have never been attracted to Dany. She is one character I am not even able to hate.
I wish they installed Dani Daniels in some role in the earlier seasons. She seems far more attractive than Dany.

I find both of them very attractive. Dany is prettier and innocent looking whereas Dani is better at pulling off a kinky hotwife look.
