I am almost positive that there will be certain people complaining about the CGI in the trailer. You already had people who claimed that the Fisherman King looks like a Ps2 cutscene, despite the fact that according to James Wan, the upper half of his body was rendered practically.

I guess I'll also throw it out there that I've seen people like Moviebob claim that the poster from Monday is overcompensatingly trying to make Aquaman look badass, so I imagine that will probably be a complaint about the trailer as well, because apparently, Aquaman is supposed to be a useless idiot.

That's no surprise. Chipman's got a raging hateboner for the DCEU in general. He's just perched on a rock, he's not punching out a great white. In all fairness, he was actually fairly positive towards both of the trailers that were released today, although he did make some passive aggressive statements about Aquaman’s portrayal in JL. |
