Another one says that Walter Hamada has shelved the idea entirely. That'd be a shame. Even with Lex Zuckerberg leading the charge, I'd like to see a lineup with Cheetah, Black Manta, Black Adam, and whoever else may appear.

Well hopefully they'll be back with the idea once these characters are developed a little more in individual movies...which is how the entire thing should have been done anyway.

That was my favorite season of Superfriends. That was the best wasn't it? I'd come home every day from school just to watch it. I wanted that to go on more than 1 season! |

Well hopefully they'll be back with the idea once these characters are developed a little more in individual movies...which is how the entire thing should have been done anyway. Hindsight is 20/20. |

I honestly think it’s still the goal but it’s just not gonna happen anytime soon, but that’s what’s expected anyway and that’s a great thing. Build up each solo movie, some will even have sequels and then release Justice League 2 with Legion of Doom.

It was bizarre of them to introduce that idea in the first place. They hadn't even finished the first arc with Darkseid.
Ideally they should have had Metallo in the first movie as an easy one off villain. Then they should have had the Legion of Doom and then finally the top dogs with Steppenwolf leading into Darkseid.

That was apparently something they came up with during the reshoots. Originally, the post credit scene with Lex Luthor and Deathstroke was supposedly meant to serve as a lead in to the Batman movie, which was supposed to have been directed by Ben Affleck at the time, and was intended to feature Deathstroke as the villain. |

They can still have Darkseid while doing Legion of Doom. |
