Not intense scenes, scenes that take place in tents. Stills or clips. Here Lawrence of Arabia parleys in Auda Abu Tayi's tent. Outside are Auda's fighters menacingly waving their bedouin riding crops, implying that they will come down hard upon the visitors should Auda bid them to do so.

The three gold miners in TREASURE OF SIERRA MADRE share a tent every night and each grows suspicious whenever one of them leaves for ... for whatever reason.

Same Lawrence, different tent. "There is nothing in the desert, and no man needs nothing." (Younger viewers might think this is from "Prometheus".)

Hey, I know that one too -- it's Ben-Hur of the River (although Jimmy Stewart is just to the left and out of the frame, as I recall).

Forever Darling (1956) Lucy hasn't quite got the hang of roughing it. The Creature From the Black Lagoon (1954) In his jungle tent, Perry Lopez gets a surprise visit from the "gill man." The Road To Morocco (1942) Hope's up to a little sabotage of the banquet in Anthony Quinn's tent. And the camels peeking under the canvas have something to say about it.

The Invisible Ray (1936) Boris Karloff drops by Bela Lugosi's tent... ...to bring a little light into his life. Meanwhile, in another part of the jungle, Walter Kingsford attends to his aching feet.

The Mummy's Hand (1940) Tom Tyler thinks the wrap party is in Peggy Moran's tent. The Garden Of Allah (1936) Basil Rathbone's in the neighborhood, so he pays a visit to Charles Boyer's and Marlene Dietrich's well-furnished tent... ...which wouldn't be complete without yards of draped chiffon.

Deborah Kerr has a hard time keeping the jungle residents out of her tent in KING SOLOMON'S MINES --
-- and almost on a nightly basis requires shirtless Stewart Granger to come to her rescue.
