Alcohol
it's the only safe one WHEN used in moderation. the rest are just bad for your overall health so i never bothered with them.
i don't think what i said above can be questioned either. but where Alcohol can become a huge problem is when it's abused as it seems quite a few people out there can't control themselves and then end up drinking too much and then get addicted or become abusive etc.
i know some might consider marijuana no big deal but it's still smoke going into your lungs which can't be good for your health long term especially those who smoke it a lot. plus, it makes you wonder what other stuff it might be doing to you like making you lazy etc. it's pretty safe to say that alcohol used in moderation is the overall safer choice between these two like if both are used only here and there. sure, i realize that if someone is driving a vehicle alcohol can be a big problem but that's where a lot of people just don't seem to care and ruined it for the rest of us by getting people killed in car accidents and they wonder why the laws are so strict nowadays vs what they used to be back in the pre-1990's (maybe even pre-2000's on some level) where you could get away with more stuff without paying a steep price. but nowadays you just don't want to get caught drinking/driving or your screwed. for the record... i never drive while drinking and it makes me wonder how people cannot tell that they should not be driving when they are drinking (unless their reasoning is totally shot after they are wasted beyond a certain point?) as i can pretty much tell i should not be driving (say after 2-3 12oz beers or something like that) and i am no where near drunk level. but i am curious.... i wish i new a local police officer just to see how i feel at the point where you can still legally drive and the point where you cannot. just to get a measurement for myself on how much you can drink and still have little to no chance of blowing over the legal limit etc.
also, i never understood Tobacco's appeal as it just seems pointless to me as it's obvious that stuff is a slow poison for your body and what benefits do you really get from it? ; at least i can see the point of Alcohol or Marijuana etc for people but Tobacco seems pointless (like all negatives with very little to no positives. i realize people get addicted to cigs but it makes me wonder why they started in the first place). hell, i remember back before they banned people smoking cigarettes in restaurants that stuff makes me somewhat sick to my stomach if i breathe it in(like second hand smoke in the air), especially any heavier amount of it.
