I have this idea that since Michael Rosenbaum's character is supposedly important to the Marvel Universe and works in tandem with Stallone's, that both are new members of the Elders.
What really clued me into how that would work, is the idea of Ego somehow growing a human body, along with the appearance of Mantis, and the perfect person to aid in the creation of such beings would be The Gardener.
As it so happens, The Gardener was also the first Elder who The Obliterator encountered, The Obliterator being a character who looks an awful lot like Sylvester Stallone and who also fits his reputation.
My idea is that Obliterator is loyal to the Gardner who made a deal with Ego to use his surface for his own purposes as long as Gardner would grow him a human body to use.
I do not know where the motivations all lie, but at some point the team will have to contend with Obliterator to stop the plotting of either Ego, the Gardner, or both.

Michael Rosenbaum's in Guardians of the Galaxy 2? Interesting to know he's alive. It's weird, I don't see him listed but just google his name with guardians 2 and you'll find all sorts of articles talking about a connection with his and Stallone's character.
Now here's the thing, if they're related in some way
- Did they bring both guys on to be Nova members? I don't really see how that would be necessary, but I suppose it's possible. - Could they both be faces of the Living Tribunal? Hummmmmmmmmmmm, maybe!? - Or could they both be Elders. It's been speculated for awhile that Stallone is a dead ringer for Obliterator and fits the aging actor profile of Del Toro and Goldblum. And then Gardener is not only Obliterators first contact with other Elders but it would make some sense for a Gardener to be hanging out on a private planet that allows him to grow new lifeforms in exchange for his own body. - Or how about Adam Warlock and the Magus? Both playing one. That might be interesting. - Or how about Tribunal and Eternity? - Or how about Obliterator and Warlock? Now that one sounds fun, if Obliterator suddenly becomes aware of Warlock and it becomes a hunt for "HIM"
