I guess they felt the reboot show back in '08 being a failure was an indication that no one cared? That being said, it is surprising that no one has tried since then. Like what with the success of the Fast & Furious movies.

Considering how The Dukes of Hazzard movie turned out, I'm glad it hasn't been and hope it stays that way.
I like The A-Team movie though.

I like The A-Team movie though. So did I! I'd like to have seen a sequel to that. I don't even like the tv show but the movie was fun and ridiculously ott.

Yeah, just cast the guy from A Quiet Place as Michael Knight.

I didn't think the Dukes of Hazzard film was bad and would definitely check out a Knight Rider film

It has been. Twice. First there was a TV movie with David Hasselhoff back in the 90s and then they tried to remake everything in 08.

The original show was quite popular but I was never a big fan of it. I didn't see the TV movie with Hasselhoff. I actually enjoyed the spin off series "Team Knight Rider" mainly because the women were super hot. I enjoyed the 2008 remake (actually I think it was a sequel) series but it never went anywhere. I would be up for a medium to big budget movie version of the original show.

I watched it back in the day. He gets his face shot off in the pilot and then turns into Hasslehoff via plastic surgery. They should have Goliath in it--the talking truck voiced by the guy who did Optimus Prime.

I'm still surprised that there wasn't one, I thought it did well at the box office. The team was perfectly cast and so was Gerald McCranney. The most ott scene for me was firing the tank rounds in different directions to guid the free falling tank into a lake.
