Stupidest sci fi/horror series ever Buffy, Angel, and Firefly kicked off Netflix this month. Now if only all copies and masters could be destroyed for future generations to not see this crap.

Firefly and Serenity are good. Is that why Firefly was cancelled after like 14 episodes and Serenity bombed at the U.S. box office?

The Shawshank Redemption and The Big Lebowski weren't box office smashes. Fox also cancelled My Name is Earl over The Cleveland Show. There aren't enough facepalm gifs in the world for that one.

Fox messed up Firefly, not only airing it at a horrible time, but also out of order. Which almost guaranteed it to fail fast.
It's not the best show Whedon made, but it at least had potential to be remarkable. Unlike other horrible SF shows that for some reason just continue to be made. (Killjoys would be the worst offender of this. Horrible show, but it will not die.)

I tried to watch Firefly (2002) several years ago since somebody mentioned it on the Castle (2009 - 2015) IMDb board, but I could never get into it. I suppose it just isn't my cup of tea.
I wonder why Netflix pulled it? I know it has a cult following. You'd think they'd leave well enough alone.

Maybe Netflix realized that show is a cancer that has been eating away at sci fi fandom for over 10 years and must be stopped before it spawns any more trashy imitators.

Jealousy is a stinky cologne. I have disdain, disgust and pity for vile Whedon and his fans, obviously not jealousy.

Nah. It's definitely jealousy. I tend to stay away from things I hate. I don't start threads about them. That's just envious of fans having something they love.
