I respect the guy for sticking to his guns, but the MCU can do without him, and the Guardians of the Galaxy can as well. And honestly, having James Gunn basically be "in charge" of the cosmic side of the MCU would've been too much. The second Guardians film was disappointing, in my opinion. The movie took more of an emotional angle, which would've worked really well if it weren't surrounded by some immature and cringe-worthy jokes.

" WWE has been turned off by Bautista's recent vocal support of director James Gunn, who was famously fired by Disney after some old offensive Tweets resurfaced." Lmao. Typical DC-Fan behavior. Twisting things to fit his anti-MCU agenda. Here’s what the article actually says: In absence of an official explanation, one can make some educated guesses as to why this rift might have formed. One possibility is that WWE management simply resents Bautista for leaving the company due to creative differences in 2014, after such a short return. Another more interesting possibility is that WWE has been turned off by Bautista's recent vocal support of director James Gunn, who was famously fired by Disney after some old offensive Tweets resurfaced. In that case, WWE might be afraid of drawing the ire of the same groups that targeted Gunn - should they work with Bautista again - or just simply not want to be caught up in the ongoing controversy.
There’s no confirmation that the WWE didn’t invite him because of his support of Gunn. It’s only speculation at this point.

There’s no confirmation that the WWE didn’t invite him because of his support of Gunn. It’s only conjecture at this point. Actually, it's not conjecture, it's a fact that WWE didn't invite Bautista because of his vocal support for Gunn. It's well-known that Vince McMahon always does "what's best for business". In the 1990s, Hulk Hogan testified against Vince McMahon in a criminal trial, yet Vince McMahon still brought Hogan back to the WWE because it was "what's best for business". Bret Hart and Vince McMahon had a falling out just before Hart left WWE and signed with WCW, but Vince McMahon still brought Hart back for the WWE Hall of Fame because it's "what's best for business". If the WWE didn't invite Bautista back for the Smackdown 1000th episode, then it's fact that they didn't do so because Vince McMahon feels that Bautista's vocal support for Gunn isn't "what's best for business".

No Vince brings people back because he gets off on it, Vince has done it numerous times through his career he brings people in who were his competitors or who talked shit and fucked him about because he gets off on knowing he's the one with the power, that's why he brought in Eric Bischoff, why he rehired Sable, now will he bring people back for business purposes? yes obviously he will that's why he brought back Goldberg, why he keeps Brock on the payroll because they can make him money, but he mostly does it because he likes having people who stood against him work under him for an ego trip.
Why he wouldn't bring Batista back could...COULD...you fucking spastic, be because of the Gunn support thing, but seeing how he's hired Lawler for years and Lawler was charged with raping a 15 year old girl back in 1993, he's brought back wife beaters, racist's, sexist, drug addicts, armed robbers, and Ric Flair who is a sex pest but endearing which is how he gets away with it, but yeah it could be because of Gunn, could also be WWE don't think bringing in Batista for what may be a considerable sum for one show he wont wrestle on and probably wont add that much more attention to than everyone else they could bring in, just isn't worth the cash, or Batista could be lying, he's a wrestler they do that, they call it working the marks, who fucking knows.
But your obvious and simple minded attempt to once again turn anything you can into a negative MCU slant didn't go unnoticed, good troll, now get back under the bridge, there's a good boy.

Jesus Christ Smackdown has a 1000th episode?
I'm way behind on my wrestling. I think the last time I watched it was in 2003.
