I didn't really ask for remakes of most of the movies I've seen, to be honest. But I don't mind a lot of the remakes I've seen (though the original is usually better).
To the ones listed:
Annie. Didn't ask for it, as there were already two movie versions that were from 1982 and 1999, respectively, that I already enjoyed very much, and I was skeptical when I saw the trailer for the third version. I was like, "Do we really need a THIRD movie version?" Finally watched it. Was it a cash-grab? Heck yes! Did I enjoy it anyway? Heck yes! Is it better than the other two movie versions? Heck no. Can I understand why it gets a lot of hate? Heck yes.
Carrie. Never saw any version. I don't even know the story. Yes, I know. I'm behind the times.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I explained this one already. I wouldn't mind, however, seeing someone attempt an animated version that goes strictly by the book (none of the Wonka's father nonsense, I always skip those parts when I watch the movie).
Poltergeist. Never heard of it.
A Nightmare on Elm Street. Haven't seen it.
Oz the Great and Powerful. Loved the movie, but I like Wizard of Oz better. I also like Return to Oz better. I think this would qualify as more of prequel than a reboot or a remake or a different adaptation. And I wouldn't mind seeing a more accurate adaptation of Wizard of Oz either (animated would be my preference. It's one of the few books where the characters I see in my head are distinct from the ones in the movie).
The Amazing Spider-Man. I had high hopes for it. I enjoyed that they brought the wrist devices for shooting web back. I like Spider-Man having a limited amount of web. It allowed for those moments in the comics where he would be swinging or fighting, and he would run out of web, and have to use his brain to get out of the situation, I didn't ask for the reboot, and in the end, the only Raimi movie it was better than was Spider-Man 3, but I did enjoy it. The sequel though? Ugh. That's a different story.
I haven't seen the rest of the movies on the list. Man, am I behind the times.

Most films based on a great TV show. They are almost always vastly inferior to the TV show they are based on.

Does anyone ever ask for a remake?

I haven't seen the rest of the movies on the list. Man, am I behind the times. You really haven't missed my much. In my opinion they are terrible films, especially Poltergeist.

What I don't get are the movies that seem to exist only to recast characters with black actors, like the new Annie or the Honeymooners.
Also stupid are the shot-for-shot remakes - why not just redirect your audience to the original movies?
Of the ones on the list, probably the most disappointing for me was the new NOES movie. I'm fairly sure once Englund announced his retirement from the franchise most people, serious fan or not, were perfectly ok with that series ending.

I was asking for the Amazing Spider-Man films, because I absolutely loathe the Raimi films.

I like the first one. Raimi and Maguire's interpretation of a Charlie Brown-esque Peter Parker just did not work for me.

I actually kind'a lied the Raimi ones as it was Spidey's first outing.
I am looking forward to Tom Holland but Garfield's Twilight-emoness didn't do it for me at all, and the second one is just bad.

Our opinions sit at opposite end of the table, then, obviously. I hated hated hated hated HATED Maguire's Spider-Man from start to finish. I like my Spider-Man sassier and more capable of standing up for himself.

Yeah we disagree.
Garfield's was too "puny" for lack of a better word, too emo IMO... and don't get me started on Electro.
I like the fact that the MCU seems to be given us a strong Spidey.

"Puny"? I'm entirely sure what you mean here.
I agree about Holland, though. I am looking forward to what he can bring to the table.

He (Holland) seems funnier, stronger... he seems like THE Spider-Man we have been waiting for.
I look forward for the Spidey villain roaster.

Fair enough.
Me, too, they're off to a good start with a souped-up version of the Vulture (and the Tinkerer, I think).
