No. But I have seen its depictions in a few movies and read about it on occasions.
It literally means " the way of saints". The development of this religion was due to the fact that the colonialist masters had criminalized the practice of original African religions and Africans who had come to American continent had to pick a few elements of Catholicism/Christianity. Slowly the religion mixed Catholicism with the African practices. Good point about it is that unlike western religions, it didn't totally marginalise homosexuals, prostitutes etc. Many prostitutes and homosexuals embraced it as a way of freeing themselves from harsh justice systems inherent in colonial times.
