I named a few examples from each fandom, so you can pick which fandom the women have it worst within.

Star Wars dwarfs all of those.

Star Wars has stakes.
Poor Shmi Skywalker is the heroine of suffering, followed by Jyn Erso and then Beru.

I voted Star Wars, but the ladies aren’t as bad as most people think. I just think the others are better developed.
Also, WTF is Dune?

It's a 1984 science fiction film set in the distant future that was directed by David Lynch and is widely considered a mess of a film, but that has managed to secure a cult following over the years. The film is based on a 1965 science fiction novel that goes by the same name that was written by one Frank Herbert and that apparently influenced George Lucas when he was coming up with Star Wars. The novel takes place on a desert planet, features an evil baron working in alliance with a villainous galactic emperor and also a group of beings who have powers remarkably similar to those displayed by the Jedi in the Star Wars films. It's not as accessible to the average person as Star Wars, it's interesting to note the parallels between the works.

On hat note, a single film from the 80’s doesn’t warrant to be in the poll with these other franchises.
