I wonder if any of them will have a male as the lead hero? By 2020 they will probably be all female casts and not in a cool way.

evidently Han Solo was never his name, not sure if that's been in the EU before, but.....it's not his name now.

Risk of oversaturation indeed!
At least we will see how they get rid of Finn, and someone please, suggest to this people that it would be a good idea to make Kylo Ren to put the mask ON.

So I assume we'll be getting Episodes 10, 11, and 12. So long as they make over a billion dollars I guess.

I couldn't care less about the origin of his name. I don't need to know the history of every single thing for my favorite cinematic characters.

If they do have another trilogy after VII, VIII, and IX, then they need to wait I'd say at least 5 years before episode X. This trilogy needs to wrap itself up in a satisfying way and end all storylines. If Disney ends episode IX on a cliffhanger, I will officially be done with this new Disney Star Wars. I have seen the passion from the filmmakers, but not the studio.
It will be really easy to tell if Disney truly wants to tell a great story, or if they want Star Wars to just be a throw-away box office-stuffing ticket stub. The transition from episode IX to X will tell us exactly how much they actually care about this franchise. I have liked both The Force Awakens and Rogue One, but I'm afraid it might be going in a bad direction if they really want to keep this up until 2030.

There a big possibility that people will get tired eventually (and yes, people say the same about Marvel, but the difference is that there are a lot more characters and different types of stories to be told), but as long as the movies keep making a billion dollars or similar figures, I don't see why would they stop.

The Star Wars franchise won't last until 2030.
