This was known for almost a year.
Still sad to see him go. I liked him as Steve Rogers/Captain America!

Seems like a pretty big spoiler to drop this way; as they point out in the video it could be a misdirect. As a fan I'm fine with him moving on. He's defined the role in a way nobody thought he could've when he was originally cast, but he can't do it forever. This isn't a comic book, people age in real life. Whenever he moves on, it'll be interesting to see what they do with the character of Captain America. Retire him or turn him into a legacy character. I was never a huge fan of Bucky Cap or Falcon Cap in the comics, maybe they'll go in another direction entirely.
As an actor it'll be interesting to see how his career goes post-MCU. He'll always be Captain America, but I'm sure he hopes to be remembered for much more.

Goodbye Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr and Chris Hemsworth. You left with dignity.

If we're being honest, I'm a little disappointed he didn't die in Infinity War. When you step back from the many deaths, all the surviving members are part of the original Avengers with the odd smattering of neutral characters. The only survival that surprised me was Rocket. Nebula too, though I understand she's critical to the outcome in the comics so if you're a fan of the comics then maybe it's not so surprising.

Personally, I felt like they should have killed Cap, Thor, IM, Black Widow and Hawkeye sometime either in IW or the next Avengers movie. In fact when IM got stabbed on Titan I thought that was it and all I could think about was "Finally!"

Chris Evans was a fantastic Captain America. People were unsure too when he was first announced for it because he'd already played Human Torch.

Honestly, I actually didn't like him in CATFA and Avengers. Of the 4 main Avengers he seemed the weakest link. But all that changed after TWS. Now I'd say he was the strongest link among the 4.

I was really surprised when he was stabbed, but then went on to be disappointed that he lived. That would have been a nice surprised I genuinely did not see coming.

Yeah I remember the Honest Trailers for The Avengers said that Captain America was nobodies favourite superhero.
Now he's either the first or second most well liked character. It's either him or Iron Man.

It's either him or Iron Man. I think the general ranking for favorite Avenger during phase I was: 1. IM 2. Thor 3. Cap Then in phase 2 after TWS and till early phase 3 in CW it was: 1. Cap 2. IM 3. Thor Then after Ragnarok and IW in phase 3 and possible till early Phase 4 I feel like it's now: 1. Thor 2. Cap 3. IM I have a feeling that it will eventually change to include Capt. Marvel and Black Panther near the top.

There's really nowhere left for Evans as Cap to go, the only question is character retirement or on screen death. I'd bet that Stark dies & Rogers lives.

He’s fantastic in the role—he makes it seem so effortless that you almost start to believe he is Captain America. I’ll definitely miss his Cap.

I don't see the MCU maintaining anywhere near the same level of success if Chris Evans, RDJ and Hemsworth leave. I can see Disney putting the MCU on the backburner and investing more of their time and money building their version of the X-Men universe.

Anyway WeirdRaptor is on suicide watch.

Captain Marvel is supposed to be the new face of the MCU after Avengers 4, and if that doesn’t work out, there’s always Black Panther and Spider-Man.
