Watched it last night. It was ok. I like the Nora actress. The big bad looks pretty good even though it was only a glimpse at this point. I am getting tired of the whole "it's ok to mess with the timeline in this situation but not in this one" nonsense.
Please hire better writers!

That was one muddled up episode. So many questions without answers. Why did Caitlyn’s Dad fake his death? Is he a villain and did he experiment on Caitlyn to make her Killer Frost or did she inherit her superpowers from him and he has superpowers? Why has Barry been missing for so long in the future? Does Cicada do something to him or is this the work of another villain? Why does Iris not know what Sway means? It was a Bic Runga song. Get with the times. If Flashpoint brought Ralph back to life who else did it save? How does Norah know she is the fastest woman alive? Did she have a race with Jessie Quick? Where is Jessie Quick? What is Saturn Girl’s boyfriend doing on a different earth in the future? Is that why he wasn’t in Supergirl? Shouldn’t Lightning Lad be with the other members of the Legion Of Superhumans? Why is Wally not alive in the future? Is he going to die? Why is coffee so expensive? Questions, questions children.

It was pretty good, but it's still early; there's time for it to suck.

Norah was annoying, but it's just the first episode. Let's see how her character develops.
Wally confuses me. He left the show to join LOT then was quickly taken off and now he's back here. The character feels redundant. It's like the writers don't know what to do with him.

The character feels redundant. It's like the writers don't know what to do with him. Well, for one thing, he was there for the end of the last season, where this season picks up; so it only makes sense to keep him there and especially to act as a go between to the "legends" to offer an explanation why Nora couldn't just be sent back on the Waverider (which I was surprised they bothered with). Second, Wally originally was going to join the Legends full time this season, but the actor decided he wanted to move on to other things; so he won't be sticking around long on Flash either

I thought the episode was okay too and I am actually enjoying this season more than the previous season and find Cicada to be more of an interesting villain than DeVoe and him being a Father is an interesting twist. I like that they are giving Caitlin a storyline this season and doing something with her for a change and Nora hasn't been a bad addition and I like that they now have a prominent character on their earth who is a lesbian. I might be wrong but I have a feeling Cicada is not going to turn out to be the main villain this season and they may even have Barry talk him out of being a villain once he founds out about Cicada's child and however they defeat him I think Caitlin's Father will be the main villain.
