Houston won 2 in a row, yay. The thing is very clear now...If Houston is all healthy then they are among top 3 teams. If they are even one core player short then they are not only not among the average but an outright poor team. So does Houston stand any chance? No. They probably cannot hope to be totally healthy during playoffs because they have to demand a lot from their starters all through the regular season. You know how our players will be like toward the end of the season? Worst is that if they have any injury worry during remaining regular season then they will fail to make even to the playoffs. The team has no depth. Yes, elite when fully healthy but the team has no depth! The Timberwolves idiots should have given us Butler and we could have been looking at championship. But now I am looking at nothing. Only a season frustration.

Celtics with far and away their most complete game of the season the other night in Minnesota. Yes, the T-Wolves ain't the Warriors, but they don't stink either, and it was in their building.
Gordon Heywood pumped in a cool 30, a near triple-double, and basically took the game over in the 4th, something we hadn't seen yet this year.
Word is, Marcus Smart pushed Heywood so hard throughout an intense practice session the day before, that they almost came to blows, after which Heywood pushed his teammates even harder for the rest of the practice, which apparently carried over to the game in Minnesota.
Hope this continues.

He's better than Keith Van Horn, c'mon! Although Keith Van Horn was underrated. KVH was a very solid player in the NBA And to a much lesser extent Shawn Bradley - though both cut a niche out for themselves and managed to stick around for a bit. I think a lot of fans expected them to be stars - nothing wrong with being a good role player which is where I think Hayward is headed - he can be a very valuable 6th man in years time- or if he's on the right team - a nice 3rd option behind two stars. He's a 'third banana' so speak on the right team with stars - like a poor mans Kevin Love - and in years can be 6th man of the year.

Heart players like Marcus Smart are just as important as your star guys. And I liked Shawn Bradley, that stick-figured bastard lasted a lot longer in the NBA than I would have guessed.

Smart is a defensive bulldog was hoping the sixers would have gotten their hands on him this past offseason just like avery Bradley I have a lot of respect for Shawn Bradley - there was a great 30 for 30 or E:60 out there how after his pro ball he went on a mission to Africa, new zealand or Columbia or something - guy got hated on but went on to have a decent NBA career - if memory serves he settled in nicely with the Mavs after the Sixers and Nets- after everyone pretty much accepted the fact he was a backup 5 in the league - no more - no less.

CP3 injured again and we are done. What a frustrating season for Houston fans. Whenever we start playing well something happens. Just when it looked we were going to get 6th straight victory CP3 got injured and we then lost the game.
What more can Harden do? He is best in real plus-minus in the league. 32 ppg, 8.5 assists and 6 rebounds and 3rd in steals. The other players who are staring for Rockets would be bench players in other teams. The season is over now and we won't even be making it to the playoffs with this team. And with such a tough schedule I am looking at 5 or 6 games losing streak for the Rockets.

Even if he just stayed fit we could have had a good regular season but now it's like Harden vs All in every game we play. I do agree with you that we overpaid him. And that after knowing his long history of not being able to stay fit just baffles me. Imagine if we had someone like Butler with Harden. We do be a challenger right now. It sucks man. I will stop waking up early in the morning to see every Rockets game. It only frustrates me.

The Western Conference is fucking bananas. The only team in the basement is the Suns, and seven games separates the Nugs from the Wolves. If things continue like this, the last couple of months will be a mad scramble to secure playoff spots.

We should have built the roster better, Im not sure we even make the playoffs.
