Title & Finals MVP with the Spurs machine. Traded to Toronto, wins another title & Finals MVP. Stays in Toronto to allow coach LeBron's Lakers to implode. Moves to the Clippers to cash in 10yr vet max. Raises daughter at home in LA. Possibly more finals appearances.
I mean, talk about a well mapped out career. No wonder guy's chill 8 days a week.

Can't believe Zion is playing in the Summer League tonight.
I get any player in any sport can get injured at any time - we've seen this unfortunately happen in the NFL though with the long Preseason (this isn't even Exhibition Season in NBA - it's the Summer League) - i.e. a big piece of your unit goes down with an injury - Didn't Jordy Nelson suffer a horrible injury?
I wouldn't risk it. I'm not talking later Sept/Early Oct for Exhibition games for him to get ready - this is risky in my eyes. These guys are dawgs looking to make a roster - some not the best skilled - looking to make the 12th man on the backend of your bench - you've got to protect this guy.

Zion is comin' up
I'm tellin' yall fools I don't like it one bit.
No reason for him to be there and play.
These are gangsta dawgs looking to make the 'G League'
need to protect this cat you regard as your franchise for the next decade

Well - I've been away for awhile folks...…. world dominations ensues seriously - how are you going to guard us? c - jo-jo pf- al sf - tobi sg - jrich pg - ben masterful. process complete They lost JJ Redick to New Orleans on a measly $12.5m a year. That’s pocket change in the NBA for one of the very, very few players who is a career 41% three point shooter and is your go-to for shooting techs and getting possession of the ball during late 4th quarter leads when the other team has to foul. Having a guy who shoots 90% from the line is huge in those spots. In a league where Ryan fucking Anderson can make $20m/yr and Kristaps Softzingis can make $27m/yr when he can’t even stay healthy and is a 7’3” doormat on defense, you’re telling me the Sixers — or some other team with serious designs on contending for a title — can’t throw more than $12.5m at a veteran sniper who is as reliable a shooter as you can get besides guys named Curry? ESPECIALLY the Sixers, who need credible three-point threats to stretch the floor in a unit whose PG will not shoot threes. I love Simmons’ maturity in shot selection, but you need to balance him with a SG who makes the defense respect the three point line.

Who are you takin' if the Bulls get #1.
Zion or are you thinking outside the box.
Some pundits are stating Zion's game does not translate to the NBA.
i.e. he has no true position.
well - gee - this is the way the NBA is trending - you need to be versatile like a Swiss Army knife.
sure he may get roasted by stretch 4's on the perimeter - may not be quick enough for some 3s - but he's a a freak talent that looks like a linebacker in the NFL.
In a perfect world we'd get #1, Cleveland would get #2, and NY #3. Then I'd pull a Boston-Philly one/three swap, add some unprotected 1st rounders, and take Ja Morant #3, with Zion going to NY, and RJ Barrett going to Cleveland. Morant, Lavine, Porter jr, Markkanen and Carter jr is a great balance of flash, defense and offense. Morant is currently injured, but this is why I wouldn't have taken Zion 1st.
